Thank you for the warm, friendly welcome you gave us. We have had the most fabulous week at The Shuteslades. We enjoyed the house (so big we kept losing the kids, not a bad thing!), the surroundings, the hot tub and the sauna. Anthony enjoyed watching roe deer at night in the water meadow, and the dog loved swimming in the river. The dog training lessons from Mark were an unexpected bonus, and Christine's cake was scrummy! Our only regret is that we can't stay longer!!!

Thanks for a great week. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The kids loved exploring. Lucas especially liked the fact that the ducks came to him to be fed. On our last day a duck layed an egg outside the house, which we have taken home! Fishing in a local lake was a great experience for the kids, which they will remember. Hope to see you again soon!

We've had a very chilled-out week de-stressing & watching wildlife. Have seen 5 deer, got within 15 feet of a badger on the watermeadow, and rescued a sparrow hawk from Mark's shed. Have also seen buzzards, herons, pheasants, rabbits - the wildlife goes on and on. An idyllic location and beautiful scenery. Thanks for everything! PS. Lorraine now wants a hot tub!!

As every day went by we were showered with most generous and pleasant hospitality by Mark and Christine, who were always there to assist in any way they could. They seem to have an answer/solution to whatever the request is for help. This, in turn, meant that we were able to enjoy our holiday and relax completely.

In short, we would have no hesitation in recommending The Shuteslades to our closest friends, and would certainly like to return here in the future. Thank you very much for everything.
